Heritage Garden at Royal Jubilee Hospital Opened

July 24 2007 – On a lovely summer’s afternoon the Heritage Garden at the Royal Jubilee Hospital was opened. Sitting adjacent to the Pemberton Memorial Chapel, the garden provides a quiet oasis for patients, staff and visitors. Fundraising efforts of the Alumnae Association of the RJH School of Nursing were acknowledged, not only for the garden next to the Chapel, but also for the Chapel restoration and the archives display and storage. The donation from the Parks and Recreation Foundation of Victoria for tree planting was recognized on the large bowl resting on top of the lectern stand.
